Ahmed Yassine
Like most of the modern stories, Ahmed Yassine's is one of terrible neglect. For the first three years of his life he was brought up by his aunt Khadija, his mother's sister. However, after three years she could not provide for his needs, and he was put into the care of Zahra G. Allegedly, for the next three years he was effectively confined with four dogs and about thirty cats, until he was found on 2 June 2006. The first word he said after his discovery was kelb (dog).
